How far along? 16 weeks
Maternity clothes? I am living in stretchy lounge shorts when I'm home, when I go out I'm pretty much in full maternity clothing other than a few tank tops/t-shirts.
Stretch marks? Still good so far....let's keep it that way!
Sleep: Well, I still get up fairly often for potty breaks, and I have been really having trouble getting comfortable lately. I continue to end up being the most comfortable on my stomach, but I am sure that won't last much longer unless I get really creative!
Best moment this week: Hearing the baby's heartbeat this morning, and experiencing the baby playing hide-n-seek with the doctor as she was trying to keep the doppler on the baby's heartbeat! Oh, and finding out that my fainting spells are completely normal!
Have you told family and friends:
Oh yes, and everyone is helpful and excited, especially my Nana Smith, who told me tonight how she cannot wait to hold this little baby!
Miss Anything?
I am missing a good deli sandwich, and I am seriously missing cookie dough, and the ability to lick the bowl when I bake!! Someone write these down so I can have them after the baby is born! ;o)
Movement: Still too soon, but it could be any time...I am certainly paying attention!
Food cravings:
It seems to change by the week. This week, it is fruit, yogurt, and orange juice. At least those are healthy compared to previous cravings!!
Anything making you queasy or sick: When I'm hungry I still feel quesy, also when I am super tired, and gross smells still do it.
Have you started to show yet: Slowly
getting there...I have a little bit of a belly now. I have read the baby will be doubling in size over the next few weeks, so I am looking forward to looking pregnant, not just fat!
Gender prediction: Not sure
Labor Signs: No
Belly Button in or out? In
Wedding rings on or off? On, and this week they are looser than last week!
Happy or Moody most of the time:
I've been pretty moody, but it's been pretty stressful around here for me lately.
Looking forward to: Feeling the baby move for the first time, and finding out the gender!! We find out the gender in about 2 weeks, and I cannot wait!! I just hope Baby cooperates!

15 weeks!
So here we are at 15 weeks. Nothing particularly new or exciting to report right now. I'm still waiting on my belly to look more pregnant and less "fat"! One fun thing though is that we have decided to have a gender reveal party for our families, so I have started coming up with ideas for that. I have also found a really cute maternity shirt that I will wear for the party. It will be fun to see what our family thinks we are having, and who ends up being correct! And then we can really start to buy things for the baby, which will be SO much fun!

Maternity clothes? Still the same as last week, although I am learning how hard it is to find maternity clothing when you aren't a tiny, petite woman....particularly when you have a gigantic chest because so many of the tops are empire waists/peasant tops, which don't work for those of us with large chests. I see a lot of online guessing...I mean shopping, in my future
Stretch marks? Still good so far....let's keep it that way!
Sleep: Still have quite frequent pee-breaks through out the night, and some trouble getting comfortable. I am still sleeping on my stomach fairly often...which I will do as long as I can!
Best moment this week: Shopping with my Mom and realizing my feet didn't swell hardly at all!
Have you told family and friends: Oh yes, and everyone is helpful and excited :o)
Miss Anything? Still missing a good, cold deli sandwich. And I miss coffee....it's a disappointment that I thought I would be fine to drink it since it's okay in moderation, but unfortunately I have an aversion to it.
Movement: Still too soon. :o(
Food cravings: I had a craving for fried chicken and cake the other night...that was an interesting one. Sadly, the fried chicken didn't live up to my expectations :o/
Anything making you queasy or sick: When I'm hungry I still feel quesy, also when I am super tired, and gross smells still do it.
Have you started to show yet: Slowly getting there...I have a little bit of a belly now, but I'm looking forward to it getting bigger so I will finally look pregnant, not just fat.
Gender prediction: Not sure
Labor Signs: No
Belly Button in or out? In
Wedding rings on or off? On, but they are getting tighter!
Happy or Moody most of the time: I'd say lately I've been pretty moody....but I think that has a lot to do with the fact that I have been incredibly busy, and therefore more tired.
Looking forward to: Feeling the baby move for the first time, and finding out the gender!! Seems like those are taking forever to get here! I'm also looking forward to our appointment on the 27th, because we will get to hear the heartbeat and make sure baby is still doing well.

14 Weeks - Hello Second Trimester!
Again it has been a few weeks since I have written - we were busy preparing and going on our trip for our 1 year anniversary! Our first trimester screening went perfectly - Baby Komorek looks great and healthy! We are so thankful for that, and pray it continues! Above is a picture of the baby at almost 12 weeks. It looks like a baby now - yay!! We don't get to see the baby again until probably September, but we can't wait!

Maternity clothes? Unless they are stretchy, then I am much more comfortable at this point in maternity pants, even though they are a little loose right now. Shirt-wise, I still can wear several things that are not maternity, but I do have a few maternity shirts that I am wearing (though mostly because of my growing chest at this point more so than the belly!)
Stretch marks? Not so far, but I think some are trying to pop up on my chest. I will be battling those intensely!
Sleep: Tossing & turning, and frequent wake-ups for pee breaks. I'm also starting to have problems with my neck and back hurting, which makes it hard to get comfortable. I'm also a belly sleeper, so I am enjoying that as long as I can...and I think I may be getting creative to continue as long as possible!
Best moment this week: Realizing that my nausea is starting to go away!!
Have you told family and friends: Yes, we have told everyone. It is SO great to be able to talk about it openly!
Miss Anything? I am still missing a good deli sandwich, but I am also missing having the ability to eat some of my favorite things (apparently many of them the baby does not want me to enjoy right now)
Movement: Still too soon. :o(
Food cravings: I had a craving for my Mom's potato salad...and because my Mom is awesome, she made me some!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Often coffee, chocolate, and "heavy" desserts. Gross smells will also do the trick. Thankfully the nausea is starting to lessen, which is great.
Have you started to show yet: A little bump so far.. gets bigger by the end of the day
Gender prediction: Not sure
Labor Signs: No
Belly Button in or out? In
Wedding rings on or off? On, but they are getting tighter!
Happy or Moody most of the time: I'm generally happy, but I certainly have my moods, especially when I haven't slept well.
Looking forward to: Feeling the baby move for the first time, and finding out the gender!!
